JAMMU: Continuing the drive against the illegal dairies, pet birds shops, illegal pet breeders, JMC on Tuesday conducted checking at various establishments.
Under the directions of Mandeep Kaur, IAS Commissioner Jammu Municipal Corporation,Dr. Zaffar Iqbal MVO JMC and team of Municipal Veterinary Wing checked several establishments dealing with aforementioned trades. The team lifted the animals from the illegal dairy situated at Rehari Chungi with the Police assistance. The animals were impounded in Municipal Cattle Pond Dogra Hall Jammu.
The drive will remain continue in future and general public is requested to register their dairies with Jammu Municipal Corporation and provide pure and hygienic milk to people. They are also warned not leave their cattle on roads as this leads to accidents.
