JAMMU: Police on Sunday claimed to have solved a blind murder case by arresting one Arjun Kumar Mehto.
According to report, on 4th April 2016 Police Post Canal received information that a critically injured person namely Kalish Yadev has been assaulted by unknown person and is lying at Bhagwati Nagar. Consequently, police shifted the injured to Government Medical College where he succumbed to his injuries.
In this regard, police registered an FIR vide No 45/2016 under Section 307 RPC in Police Post Canal and after the death of injured it was converted into 302 RPC.
Later, manhunt was launched and many suspects were rounded during which one person namely Arjun Kumar Mehto, son of late Lakshmi Mehto, resident of Ali Nagar, Lal Bagh, District Darbanga, Bihar, during interrogation confessed that he has committed the crime.
