Jagruk Hindustani Premier Volleyball League Tournament Jai Baba Chamlyal Club, Pindi Camp win opening ties

SAMBA: To highlight the quality of sports amongst the border youth, 92 Infantry Brigade, 5 Jak Rifle organised volleyball league tournament at Ramgarh under the aegis of Jagruk Hindustani Premier Volleyball League. This tournament is going on in two phases.
On first phase of this tournament today, Sarpanch Halqa Panchayat Mahal Shahn, Girdhari Lal (Retd ZEO) was Chief Guest while the Company Commander of 5 JAK Rifle Major Anand Krishna was Guest of Honour who started this tournament.
In first phase from 19th to 25th April, first match was played between Jai Baba Chamlyal Club Dug Chhanni who won by 2-0 (25-20, 25-13) from Koulpur team. In another match, Pindi Camp defeated Khour by 2-0 (25-08, 25-16).
Addressing the players, Sarpanch Girdhari Lal appreciated the step taken by army for the border youth for targeting towards sports. He also told that due to the border area as well as the poor people there are no appropriate infrastructure of sports for the youth.
