POONCH: PHE Diploma Holders on Saturday staged a protest in favour of their demands and also conducted a rally from their office to Nakhan Wali Road. They were demanding their pending salaries to be cleared as early as possible besides giving them permanent status too.
President ITI Diploma Holders Association, Raroof Ahmed expressed anguish over the attitude of the authorities. He said, these casual labourers or daily wagers must be given their due salaries so that they can meet their requirements.
He also appealed to the PHE Minister to personally intervene and find a remedy of their genuine problems. Prominent among those who were present on the occasion -Rafiq Ahmed, Ajay Kumar, Susheel Kumar and Mohd Bashir .
