Poverty and unemployment issues

Dear Editor,
In our State, poverty and unemployment are the issues we still can’t eradicate, even though poverty and unemployment has been around for many decades now. It is the main reason that our State is lacking in different aspects from other states of the country.
I think helping children overcome poverty will make a huge difference not only to their lives but to the lives of their families, communities and to society as a whole. Moreover, educating unemployed educated youth about the various schemes launched by the government to establish their own business hubs will improve the situation.
No doubt the State and the Central Government have launched a number of schemes for the welfare and betterment of people, especially for the unemployed educated youth but it is also a fact that we are lacking in the implementation part that has given rise to such a situation in the country. We need to focus more on the implementation and there is dire need to make youth aware about the schemes launched by the government to make people self dependent and earn livelihood.
I really hope that schemes should be implemented in a proper manner so that the beneficiaries get the required support and can improve their living standards. It is only with the cooperation of government and other law making agencies that the living standards of people can be elevated and socio-economic development of people can be ensured.
The need of the hour is to educate the poor and uneducated youth and secondly make unemployed educated youth aware about the schemes launched and help them avail benefits from such welfare schemes.
