JAMMU: The State Cabinet on Monday ordered major reshuffle in state administration.
As per the orders, Sundeep Kumar Nayak, IAS, Principal Secretary to the Government, Tourism Department has been transferred and posted as Principal Secretary to the Government, Agriculture Production Department relieving Rakesh Kumar Gupta, IAS of the additional charge.
Bipul Pathak, IAS, Commissioner/Secretary to the Government, Housing and Urban Development Department has been transferred and posted as Chairman, J&K Special Tribunal, relieving Dr Arun Kumar, IAS of the additional charge. Ashok Parmar, IAS, Commissioner/Secretary to the Government, Tribal Affairs Department has been transferred and posted as Commissioner/Secretary to the Government, IT, Technical Education and YSS Department.
Naveen posted as Pr Secy to CM; retains Finance; Hirdesh H&UD; Raina Secy CAPD
Navin Kumar Choudhary, IAS, Commissioner / Secretary to the Government, Finance Department has been transferred and posted as Principal Secretary to Chief Minister. He shall also hold the additional charge of the post of Administrative Secretary, Finance Department till further orders.

Munir-ul-Islam, KAS, Deputy Commissioner, Anantnag has been transferred and posted as Director, Information, J&K. He will report to GAD and take over the charge on 01.05.2016 after the superannuation of Zaffar Ahmad Bhat.
Showkat Aijaz Bhat, KAS, Deputy Commissioner, Ganderbal has been transferred and posted as Deputy Commissioner, Kulgam.
Carrying forward the pioneering welfare agenda initiated by the government headed by Mufti Mohammad Sayeed, the State Cabinet on Monday approved some major initiatives as a part of the government’s response to the marginalised, disadvantaged and other sections of the society.
Besides announcing the transfers of IAS and KAS officers, Minister for Education, Naeem Akhtar at a press conference after the maiden meeting of the new State Cabinet chaired by Chief Minister, Mehbooba Mufti this afternoon briefed the media about other Cabinet decisions. Minister for Consumer Affairs and Public Distribution, Choudhary Zulfkar Ali and Director General Information, Zaffar Ahmad Bhat were also present on the occasion.
