Phagwara (Pb):-Two drug peddlers were arrested and 45 grams of heroin was recovered from their possession here, police said today.
The peddlers were identified as Kuldip Kumar alias Rinku and Manvir Minhas, both residents of Masat Nagar area here, they said, adding that the heroin seized is worth Rs 25 lakh in the international market.
Kumar was arrested by a patrolling team last night from Khera road, whereas Minhas was arrested from Phgwara-Banga road with 30 grams heroin in his possession, police said.
The men were arrested under relevant section of The Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances(NDPS) Act, police said.
