MENDHAR: Police on Wednesday recovered an abducted girl.
According to a report, One Mohd Shafi son of Mohd Iqbal resident of Uchhad Mendhar lodged a written complaint that his sister namely Shazia Begum (name changed) has been kidnapped by one Mohd Safeer son of Mohd Rafiq resident of Mendhar.
A case vide FIR No. 87/2015 under section 363/109 RPC was registered at Police Station Poonch and investigation taken up.
A police party of Police Station Poonch led by HC Bashir Ahmed of Police Station Poonch, Jatinder Raina SHO Police Station Poonch, DySP Hqrs. Mujeeb-Ur-Rehman, Addl. SP Poonch Masroor Ahmed Mir under the close supervision SSP Poonch recovered the abducted girl from Janipur area.
After completing legal formalities the lady was handed over to her family members.
