JAMMU: Describing the reunion of BJP and PDP a sinister alliance of diametrically opposite parties, a contingent of Panthers activists led by Rajesh Pargotra, Provincial President Jammu Province and other leaders staged a protest against the saffron party for its gross sell out and falling flat before the PDP.
A large number of JKNPP activists assembled outside BJP headquarters at Kachi Chowni Jammu and raised anti-BJP slogans torched the effigy of PM Modi amid scuffle with the police who restrained the activists from ‘gheraoing’ the BJP office.
Accusing BJP for creating political impasse in J&K for nearly three months, Rajesh Pargotra disclosed that BJP had unconstitutionally kept the State Assembly under suspended animation for buying time to lure its ex-ally by unfair means.
He said that speculations were rife that BJP had agreed to withdraw of AFSPA from Kashmir and was ready to rope in separatists and Hurriyat leaders in the dialogue process.
He further expressed his surprise that BJP on one hand was bashing the supporters of Afzal Guru all across the country but on the other hand embraced the PDP to form a government which had been a staunch admirer of the Parliament attack convict, backed up by the separatist Hurriyat leaders.
He further lambasted the BJP for being a partner in realizing the Dixon Plan which was formulated on the doctrine of dividing Jammu in the name of Chenab Valley and Pir Panjal respectively.
He said that the BJP had lost its political base in Jammu region which could not evade the wrath of Dogra outrage now.
He said that the people’s dreams of rotational Chief Minister, Abrogation of article 370, Delimitation of Assembly constituencies, AIIMS and Smart city for Jammu were shattered and sold out to Kashmir by the BJP leaders for the crumbs of power. He castigated the shameless BJP for its persistent betrayals and acts of subterfuge and warned the saffron party to get ready for its funeral pyre on Kashmir soil.
Other present were Rakesh Gupta, Shanker Singh Chib, Khajur Singh, Inderpal Singh, Anil Rakwal, Naresh Chib, Sham Gorkha, Chetan Sharma, Parshotam Parihar, K.K Sharma, Nirmal Kishore, Neeraj Gupta, Ravinder Jamwal and Rajesh Gondhi.
