NAGROTA: A two-day workshop for teachers on theme ‘Inspiring the Cadets’ is being organised at Sainik School Nagrota on Monday.
Colonel Kapil Dev Koushal, Principal Sainik School Nagrota lit the traditional lamp and inaugurated the workshop in which the entire academic faculty of the school actively participated.
The principal mentioned that teachers are life-long learners and that they must share and update their expertise and broader their outlook in order to inspire young cadets to achieve their goals.
In the morning session, presentations were given on various topics like Vocabulary Building, Management Difficult Behaviour, Value Education, Doubt Removal etc.
At the end of each presentation, an open discussion was held wherein the participants exchanged valuable ideas.
Subsequently, Colonel Kapil Dev elucidated the implications of the process of learning and also emphasized on the need to incorporate effective techniques in teaching. The post-lunch session included presentations on ‘Classroom Management with innovative ideal’ and ‘Is there a Science to teach Science?’
It was followed by an interactive session wherein the participants discussed various points to be implemented in the ensuing academic session. The workshop will culminate on 5th April, 2016.
