As a retired Indian Air Force officer, I wonder what purpose and wisdom will be served in allowing a team of the Pakistani Military Intelligence and ISI to the sensitive military installation at Pathankot (“NIA to brief Pak. investigation team”, March 27). Pakistan has the capability to scrutinise the airbase and its surroundings using less than a metre resolution satellite imagery. Questioning all those who are relevant to the probe can be done at the Wagah border. Our goodwill gesture could boomerang.
