UDHAMPUR: Nawaz from Bhat Youth Club defeated Azad Ghulam from Yojra Youth Club and clinched the Badminton title in District Level Sports Tournament organised by Nehru Yuva Kendra Udhampur at Yojra Talab, Battal Ballian, here on Sunday. In wrestling 60 Kg section, Arjun defeated Muzaffar while in 40 Kg Azad Ghulam came on top defeating Mushakur. Muzaffar Club won In Tug of War title.
“Nehru Yuva Kendra is organising District Level sports to provide opportunity to rural youth to exhibit their talent and to popularise such rural sports which require minimum infrastructure, equipments and finances,” District Youth Coordinator, Nehru Yuva Kendra Udhampur, said.
