Sant Nirankari Mandal donates 100 units of blood

R S PURA: Sant Nirankari Charitable Foundation organised a voluntary blood donation camp at Sant Nirankari Satsang Bhawan R S Pura on Sunday. Devotees of the mission participated in this camp to spread the message of Baba ji that ‘Blood should flow in veins and not in drains’. As many as 230 volunteers came forward for donation but medical team obliged only 100 volunteers.
The camp was inaugurated by Sham Lal Choudhary MLA Suchetgarh, while speaking on the occasion he described the camp a great way towards the service of humanity and said that blood donation is a supreme donation. The camp was attended by several dignitaries including Dr Renu Bala from Blood Bank GMC Jammu, R.C Puri Honorary Secretary Indian Red Cross Society, Master Ajeet Raj, Des Raj Sanchalak and several prominent citizens of the town.
Ajit Singh, Zonal Incharge, Sant Nirankari Mandal welcomed all present on the occasion and said that Sant Nirankari Mission is offering selfless services for the benefit and welfare of mankind.
Tara Singh ,Sanyojak, Sant Nirankari Mandal branch R S Pura thanked all prominent citizens, hospital authorities, volunteers of the mission.
The blood camp was held in collaboration with Blood and Transfusion Deptt. of Govt. Medical College, Jammu, Indian Red Cross Society and JKSACS.
