JAMMU: Department of Chemistry, GGM Science College, on Friday organised a Chemistry quiz competition.
Chief Guest, Prof. Ajeet Angral, Principal of the College, highlighted the importance of these competitions as well as the importance of chemistry in daily life. He appreciated the efforts of the faculty led by HoD providing platform to the students to show their talent.
Earlier Dr. Ashok Bhagat, Head of Chemistry Department stressed upon the students to participate in such events. Proceedings of the quiz were conducted by Dr. Jagjeet Singh. A total of six teams, each having three participants, participated in the event. Team A consisting of Pankaj Tripathi, Shivam Sharma and Divanshu Gupta was declared first, whereas Team D consisting of Kirtimaan Sharma, Pankaj Sharma and Nitish Rattan was declared second and Team C consisting of Zahid Arshad Mir, Mukul Adotra and Shubham Singh got third prize. The programme was anchored by Mehul Rajput and the vote of thanks was presented by Dr. Rajinder Singh.
