JAMMU : All Departments of Clerical Staff Association of Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh led by its President Ravi Singh Bhau met with Divisional Commissioner Jammu and submitted a memorandum to the Governor regarding the discrimination against pay grades according to 3rd, 4th and 5th Pay Commission of clerical cadres.
President in his address said that in 3rd, 4th and 5th Pay Commission the grades of teachers, Patwaris, statistical staff, clerical categories were at par, but with the passage of time the State Government discriminated with Junior Assistants etc by degrading their pay scales.
He further added that after a long struggle by the clerical cadre the State Government accepted the genuine demands of the cadre and constituted the pay anomaly committee but this time too, higher ups ignored the clerical cadre.
Association further requested to Governor N.N Vohra to personally intervene in the matter so that disparities in the pay structure are removed without any further delay.
