17 truck load goods traded with PoK

POONCH: With the opening of Chakan-da-Bagh crossing in Poonch Sector on Friday, 14 truck load goods were dispatched to Pakistan occupied Kashmir(PoK) while three truck load goods were received from PoK. The gates were opened at 11:10 AM and closed at 12:10 PM.
The goods including Zeera and herbs were dispatched to PoK and almonds, herbs and cloth were received from PoK. The trade was conducted under the supervision of Custodian Tanveer Ahmed and Dy SP Sagra Singh from Indian side and Major Imran Khan from PoK side.
Meanwhile during checking the security staff recovered two BSNL sim cards and two mobile phones from driver of Indian vehicle namely Nissar Ahmed son of Abdul Rehman resident of village Salotri, Poonch.
The driver carrying sim cards was arrested by the police and his vehicle bearing registration No JK12-4171 was seized for investigation.
