POONCH: Bhainch Cricket Club, Rajput Cricket Club and Kanuyian Cricket Club registered respective win in the ongoing Police Martyrs T-20 Cricket Tournament being organised by District Police Poonch under Civic Action Programme at Government Degree College Ground, here on Wednesday.
In the first match, Bhainch Cricket Club trounced Singh-XI by three wickets. Singh-XI, batting first after winning the toss, scored 117 runs which in reply Bhainch Cricket Club chased for the loss of seven wickets.
In another match, Rajput Cricket Club defeated Rider-XI by 16runs. Rajput Cricket Club, batting first, set a target of 98 runs which in reply Rider-XI could not chase and made 82 runs. Rajput Cricket Club won the match by 16 runs.
Kanuyian Cricket Club defeated Police Lines Cricket Club in the third match of the day by 40 runs. Batting first, Kanuyian Club made 110 runs which in reply Police Lines Cricket Club could not chase and made 70 runs.
Mohd Ashraf (ACR) Poonch was the Chief Guest on the occasion.
