SRINAGAR: One person died while three others were injured in separate road accidents in the Valley.
In Kupwara, a motorcycle driven by Aijaz Ahmad Bhat resident of Gushi hit and injured a pedestrian Ghulam Rasool Malik son of Ghulam Mohammad Malik resident of Malik Mohalla Gushi at Gushi in the jurisdiction of Police Post Hatmulla. The injured was shifted to District Hospital, Kupwara for treatment where he succumbed to his injuries. After completion of medico-legal formalities, the body of the deceased was handed over to his legal heirs for last rites.
In Leh, a Scorpio vehicle bearing registration number JK10-5099 driven by Sonam Angchok resident of Housing Colony Leh collided with an A-Star vehicle bearing registration number JK10-6427 driven by Chamba Kunphel resident of Thiksay at Shey Yokma, resulting in injuries to both the drivers. Both the injured were shifted to SNM Hospital, Leh for treatment. Leh police has registered a case in this regard.
In Kulgam, a Load Carrier bearing registration number JK18-7214 driven by Irfan Ahmad Bahroo resident of Mutalhama hit and injured a pedestrian Ghulam Mohi-ud-din Sheikh resident of Khudwani at Qaimoh in the jurisdiction of Police Post Qaimoh. The injured was shifted to hospital for treatment. Kulgam police has registered a case in this regard.
