NOWSHERA: Two hand pumps which are out of order for the last three months in Panchayat Chowki, have not been repaired by the PHE Department in spite of repeated requests by the Panchayat members and the villagers.
The Sarpanch Binjdu Choudhary said that during the ensuing summer with continued dry spell, the requirement of the drinking water through these hand pumps becomes inescapably essential and the department therefore is required to act fast in repairing the pumps.
The Sarpanch appealed to the XEn PHE to look into the case personally and issue suitable instructions to the concerned executives to carry out repairs immediately failing which the people of this Panchayat will come on road.
