Governor reviews progress of SSHSTATE TIMES NEWS
JAMMU: Governor N.N. Vohra, who is Chairman of the Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board (SMVDU) visited the 230 bedded Super Speciality Hospital (SSH), costing about Rs. 300 crore, which is being established by the Shrine Board. Accompanied by A.K Sahu, CEO of Shrine Board and Brig M.M Harjai, Chief Administrative Officer of the Hospital, the Governor reviewed the to-date progress of the Hospital and, thereafter, assessed the preparedness for the Nursing Council of India’s inspection of the Nursing College being set up by the Shrine Board adjacent to the Super Speciality Hospital. The admission of the first batch of students to the Nursing College is schedule to take place in July this year.
The Shrine Board Spokesman stated that the Governor has requested the Prime Minister to inaugurate the SSH in April this year.
