POONCH: A youth Nishu Sharma on Friday lost his precious life due to drugs. According to the sources on Friday morning one Nishu was recovered in comatose condition by Police from Mohalla Shakar Nagar Ward Number 11 and was taken to district hospital from where he was referred to GMCH Jammu for treatment, but he died en-route.
Medical Superintendent Dr. Mumtaz Ahmed Bhatti informed reporters that the death was caused by drugs (doubtful) and final report will come after laboratory test. Political and social organisations condoled the death of innocent youth and demanded investigation into the matter. They appealed to law enforcement agencies to look into the matter. DySP Headquarter Poonch Mohan Lal Sharma and SHO Poonch Jatindar Raina have assured the family of the deceased that the investigation will be conducted properly and whosoever is involved will be punished. The father of the deceased appealed to DIG Rajouri-Poonch Range Johny William and SSP Poonch J.S Johar for action against the drug mafia.
