JAMMU: Jammu and Kashmir Government Employees and Workers Federation (JKGEWF) extended support to two-day Kaam Chhoro Hartal call given by J and K Government Employees, Casual Labours, Workers and Pensioners United Platform.
“We after discussion adopted a resolution to support and observe Kaam Chhoro Hartal of united platform on 3rd and 4th January,” Kulwant Singh, one of the members of the Federation, told reporters here on Friday.
He said that on 3rd January, the massive rally will be held outside the Office of Divisional Commissioner, Jammu at Rail Head Complex while on 4th January, in Jammu province, the rally will be held at Press Club. The major issues of the employees/ workers include framing of regulariSation policy and implementation of Seventh Pay commission in the State.
He appealed to the State Government employees, casual labourers of various departments including PSUs and pensioners to observe the Hartal and participate in rally.
Others present in press conference were Shahid Hussain, Subash Chander, Paramjit Singh, Aslam Khan, Suresh Chander, Lekh Raj Khajura, Ranjit Singh, Rajinder Singh, Manohar Lal, Hardutt Sharma, Sandeep Khanna, Pushpinder Singh, Pawan Kumar, Parminder Singh, Usha Gupta, Kalash Patti, Sudesh Kumar and Parminder Singh.
