Sprawling Buds secures 18 medals in Taekwondo

JAMMU: The team of Sprawling Buds School, Bantalab, here excelled in the just concluded 19th Jammu District Taekwondo Championship securing 18 medals, including six gold and five silver.
The event was organised by District Jammu Taekwondo Association as part of their annual calendar of activities involving young boys and girls from various sports clubs, academies and educational institutions of the district.
The medal winners included Rudhar Partap Singh, Havi Thakur, Akshad Sharma, Manas Sharma, Ujwal Manyal, Achutam Dev Singh (gold), Anurag Saini, Harman, Divyam Khah, Rudhar Partap, Harishta Sharma (silver), Vansh Raina, Keshav Rattan, Virat Sharma, Aditya Hariday, Aditya Jamwal, Aryan Chandel and Sutikshan Partap Singh (bronze).
Meanwhile, in a special assembly, Principal of the School, Arti Sharma felicitated all these medal winners for their brilliant performance and hoped that they would put in more efforts and hold the school flag aloft during the forthcoming State and National Taekwondo Championships. The school would also honour the winners at the annual function of the school, she added.
