NOWSHERA: Police on Thursday foiled a bovine smuggling by rescuing six bovines from the clutches of the smugglers.
As per the details, Rajouri Police led by SHO Police Station Nowshera Inspr. Mohd Bashir under the supervision of SDPO Nowshera Nawaz Ahmed, during the intervening night of 28th -29th December 2016, on a specific information laid a Naka/checking at Rajal , Nowshera. During Naka, police seized a Tata mobile (JK02AL-1149) and rescued six bovines which were being transported from Jammu to Srinagar via Nowshera-Rajouri-Mughal Road. Police seized the vehicle, however driver of the vehicle and bovine smugglers fled away from the spot. A case vide FIR No. 164/2015 under section 188 RPC, 3PCA Act was registered at Police Station Nowshera.
