SRINAGAR: One person died while a minor girl was injured in separate road accidents in Baramulla and Anantnag.
In Baramulla, an unknown vehicle hit a Motorcycle bearing registration number JK016-7567 driven by Manzoor Ahmad, son of Abdul Salam, resident of Shalbugh, Ganderbal at National Highway Pattan near Hanjiwara Gupan Galli Pattan, resulting in injuries to the motorcyclist.
The injured was shifted to SKIMS Soura, Srinagar for treatment where doctors declared him brought dead.
After completion of medico legal formalities, the body of the deceased was handed over to his legal heirs for last rites.
In Anantnag, a Scooty bearing registration number JK03C-4321 hit and injured a minor girl namely Sani Jan, daughter of Mohammad Yousuf Sheikh, resident of Batepora Khanbal. The injured was shifted to District Hospital Anantnag for treatment where from she was referred to SKIMS Soura, Srinagar. Police have registered both the cases in respective Police Stations.
