JAMMU: Police on Wednesday arrested one person and recovered 13 grams of heroin from his possession.
According to reports, Janipur Police laid a special Naka at Lower Roop Nagar near Green Land Palace and intercepted one person. On search of his belonging, police recovered approximately 13 grams heroin like substance from his possession.
A case was registered at Police Station Janipur under relevant sections of law and further investigation of the case is going on to ascertain the source and destination of this consignment.
The whole operation was supervised by SHO Police Station Janipur and SDPO City West Jammu under the directions of SP City North, Dr. Vinod Kumar.
