NSUI protests against PM Modi, seeks enquiry

JAMMU: National Students Union of India (NSUI) on Monday staged protest against the Prime Minister, Narendra Modi over the charges of corruption levelled against him and his ministers.
Led by State President NSUI, Neeraj Kundan, the activists assembled in front of University of Jammu and raised slogans against the Prime Minister. The protesters also burnt the effigy of PM.
While addressing the protesters, Kundan informed “NSUI is going to launch agitation across the State to expose the corrupt practices of Narendra Modi.” Kundan also demanded enquiry against the Prime Minister from an independent agency. On the issue of demonetization, Kundan said that people are being harassed in the name of surgical strike against black money. Criticizing the Central Government for implementing the policy without adequate preparations, Kundan said the Centre should have first made currency notes available in all banks across the country.
Others who joined the protest were State Vice-President NSUI Amjad, District President Sunny Parihar, State Secretary Ranjot, Vishal Kotwal, Rohit Attri, Ranvir, Chandan and Khalid.
