14 injured in Valley road accidents

SRINAGAR: Fourteen persons were injured in different road accidents in the Valley.
In Sopore, a Tata-407 vehicle bearing registration number JK05-4300 driven by Noor Mohammad Sheikh, resident of Bonkot, Bandipora turned turtle near Watlab, resulting in injuries to nine persons including the driver of the vehicle. All the injured persons were shifted to District Hospital Bandipora for treatment.
In Kupwara, an unknown vehicle hit a Motorcycle bearing registration number JK09-9865 driven by Sajad Ahmad Sheikh, resident of Nutnoosa, Kupwara at Arampora, resulting in injuries to the motorcyclist and pillion rider namely Danish Ahmad Sheikh, resident of Nutnoosa. Both the injured persons were shifted to Kupwara Hospital for treatment. In Awantipora, an accident took place between an I-10 car bearing registration number JK13C-1879 driven by Ajaz Ahmad Sofi, resident of Lethpora and a Truck bearing registration number JK04-0483 at Lethpora National Highway in the jurisdiction of Police Station Pampore, resulting in injuries to the driver of I-10 car and a commuter namely Toyaba Ajaz. Both the injured were shifted to Sub District Hospital Pampore for treatment.
In Leh, a motorcycle bearing registration number DL5SW-4040 driven by Stanzin Takdan, resident of Agling Leh met with an accident near Petrol Pump Leh, resulting in injuries to the motorcyclist. The injured was shifted to SNM Hospital Leh for treatment.
Police have registered the cases in this regard.
