RAJOURI: Police recovered four bovines and arrested a man foiling a smuggling bid at Rajouri on Sunday.
As per the details, Rajouri Police led by In-Charge Police Post City SI Mohd Naseer and SHO Police Station Rajouri Inspr. Chaman Gorkha during intervening night of 24th-25th Dec 2016 on a specific information laid Naka checking at Workshop Bridge. During Naka checking, police seized a Tata Mobile (JK12A-3071) and rescued four bovines loaded in it arresting a man identified as Basharat Iqbal son of Sayed Mohd resident of Jharawali Gali Mendhar. A case vide FIR No 782/2016 under section 188 RPC, 3 PCA was registered at Police Station Rajouri.
