SAMBA: Irked over the death of a woman, her family members and locals blocked National Highway near Main Chowk Rahya Morh on Jammu-Pathankot national highway over an hour demanding arrest of her in-laws for allegedly forcing the woman to commit suicide.
As per the details, 24 years Ashu Devi wife of Balwinder Singh resident of Bagoona (Rajinder Pura) Vijaypur was crushed under the train near railway line Rahya Morh this morning. On receiving the information, the relatives of the deceased from village Nandpur Rakwal (Phallain Mandaal) rushed to the spot and took the body in their custody from Government Primary Health Centre Ramgarh and kept it at Main Chowk Rahya Morh on Jammu-Pathankot National Highway, demanding arrest of her family members i.e. husband, father-in-law, sister-in-law and mother-in-law who allegedly forced her to commit suicide.
SDPO Vijaypur Abhishek Sharma, SHO Vijaypur Suraj Pathania along with police team rushed to the reached the spot and assured action against the culprits. After being assured, protesters lifted the Dharna.
