RAJOURI: Police on Friday arrested an absconder who was evading arrest since 2009. As per the details, acting on a specific information, a police party of Police Station Kandi led by SI Janghir Ahmed launched a manhunt in Kandi to arrest an absconder namely Mohd Sharief son of Mohd Din resident of Kotranka, Rajouri wanted in case FIR No. 101/2009 under section 447/427/450/380 RPC registered at Police Station Kandi. After hectic efforts, the police succeeded in arresting the accused in Kandi area who was evading his arrest since 2009 and Trail Court had issued warrant of arrest under section 512 Cr.PC.
