Common man remains denied of justice, human rights: Bhim

SURANKOTE: “On mission for equity, equality and justice for all residents of J and K with provision of all fundamental rights to all citizens of India residing in J&K.” Prof.Bhim Singh, Chief Patron of National Panthers Party conveyed this message to Parliament of India while speaking at workers meeting of Panthers Party in Surankote.
Later addressing a public meeting at Poonch bordering Line of Control which was created in 1948 after the ceasefire was ordained by the Security Council of the United Nations. Prof. Bhim Singh addressing another public meeting at Poonch lauded the great sons and daughters of the soil who registered aggression from Pakistan in 1947-48 and fought a battle along with the Indian Army for one year resisting the aggression from Pakistan side. Prof.Bhim Singh said that the great people of Poonch have fought with all strength, courage and commitment against Pakistani Army in 1947-48 favouring secular India and deciding to support Instrument of Accession signed by Maharaja Hari Singh on 26th October, 1947.
Prof.Bhim Singh regretted that the people of Poonch-Mendhar-Rajouri which formed part of Poonch State under the Maharaja have not been treated fairly or with dignity. Prof.Bhim Singh said that he is leading a Panthers caravan from Jammu to Poonch in its first part with a clear message that India is one from Kashmir to Kanyakumari and Manipur to Dwarka with one Flag, one Constitution to ensure fundamental rights to all Indian citizens residing in J and K. He said that this mission in its second part shall move to Doda and Kashmir.
Several Panthers Party leaders who addressed the meeting included Anita Thakur, General Secretary, Ashfaq Rana, Poonch Distt. President, Salim Sheikh, Advocate, General Secretary Distt, Anupam Kumari, General Secretary-Poonch, Tariq Mohammad, Vice President-Distt. Poonch and many others.
