State Wushu Championship Vinod of Samba bags U-12 boys’ gold

JAMMU: Vinod Pal of district Samba bagged first place in 32 kg weight category of under-12 boys on the second day of the ongoing 13th J and K State Wushu Championship at Indoor Complex, MA Stadium, here on Thursday.
The winners on the day-two of the competition were given away medals by the Chief Guest, Member Parliament, Muzaffer Hussain Beigh.
He also congratulated the State’s medal winners at the international level, Bhanu Partap Singh (silver
medalist in the World
Cup) and Rajinder Singh (silver medalist in the Asian Championship) as also the Coach, Kuldeep Handoo.
The Results: Sub-Junior Girls: Munazah, Srinagar, Ist; Falak, Budgam, 2nd; Arushi, Jammu and Nafiza, Rajouri, joint 3rd.
BOYS Under -12 year: 32 Kg: Vinod Pal, Samba, Ist; Om Baloria, Jammu, 2nd; Abhinav, Udhampur and Aryan, Samba, joint 3rd. 56 kg: Ilyas Mir, Budgam, Ist; Tanav, Udhampur,
2nd; Amaan, Srinagar and Hamza, Srinagar, joint 3rd. GIRLS Under-12 yera: Tehneet, Baramulla, Ist;
Under 12 Years: Tehneet, Baramulla, Ist; Syed Iram, Baramulla, 2nd; Abaru Basbir, Bandipora and
Suhani Mahajan, Udhampur, joint 3rd.
