JAMMU: Varinder Gupta alias Kaka Chichdi, was arrested by Kanha chak police soon after he was released by Domana Police for illegally running a crusher. Kanha chak police has detained Chichdi in an attempt to murder case.
As per details of case, Pounichak police sealed two stone crushers namely B N Stone Crusher and J K Stone Crusher in Ghasitpur area on November 17 and arrested some persons including Sunny Kumar, resident of Pounichak; Shamsher Singh, resident of Raipur; Sham Kumar, resident of Udhampur; Jawalamukhi, resident of Uttar Pradesh, presently staying at Nardani; Ramesh Kumar, resident of Durga Nagar; Sanjay Jamwal, resident of Talab Tillo; Kewal Kumar, resident of Pargwal; Tarsem Lal, resident of Khanpur; Jaya Kumar; Ajay Kumar, resident of Marh and Gopal Dass, resident of Uttar Pradesh, presently staying at Muradpur, but one accused Virender Gupta, alias Kaka Chichdi, resident of Talab Tillo was absconding, who was later detained.
Later, he was granted bail by Court in illegal crusher case but on Wednesday Kanha chak police detained him for questioning in an attempt to murder case.
