RAJOURI: The family members of one Mohd Jangir (21), son of Mohd Munshi, resident of Darhal on Tuesday blocked Jammu-Poonch National Highway protesting over his ‘mysterious’ death.
The family members of the deceased youth alleged conspiracy behind his mysterious death and demanded that a thorough investigation should be conducted into the matter.
As per the details, the aforementioned youth fell into the Manjakote river when he was coming back from hi sisters place at village Sarula, Moda Sarali. After receiving the information about his death, the family members rushed the spot and fished out his body from the river. The party from Manjakote Police Post also reached the spot and registered a case under Section 174 CrPC. When the police tried to send youth’s body to Rajouri for autopsy, his family members blocked the National Highway. After getting assurance of fair investigation from SDPO, Manjakote and Tehsildar, Manjakote, the youth’s family pacified and lifted protest from the National highway.
