SAMBA: Samba Police on Friday arrested one drug peddler with 10 grams of heroin.
According to police, during a routine Naka at Mansar Morh on Jammu-Pathankot National Highway SHO Samba Sanjiv Chib along with SIDCO Police Post Incharge Sunil Dutt Sharma chased and arrested one motorcyclist Farooq Ahmed, son of Abdullah, resident of Paltha, Nud after he tried to escape by speeding-up his motorbike (JK02AF-7246) from the Naka site.
During the search, police recovered 10 grams of heroin from his possession. A case under NDPC Act has been registered for further investigation.
