Poor sanitation, cleanliness in Govt school; MLA initiates action against erring employees

RAMBAN: Member Legislative Assembly Ramban Neelam Langeh on Tuesday visited the Government Boys Middle School Maitra along with ZEO Ramban Zubida Parveen, AEE, PHE, ZEPO Firdous Ahmed and other officials of Education Department.
During the inspection MLA expressed displeasure over the sanitation and cleanliness scenario of the school and worst condition of kitchen meant for cooking mid day meal for the students.
He took very serious note of the garbage dumped in drinking water tank and cooking areas.
MLA directed CEO Ramban to take strict action against the earring staff members of the school for their negligence in performing duty and responsibility which is virtually connected with the health of students. He directed the ZEO to ensure use of LPG for cooking food in schools for mid day meal besides focusing on cleanliness of schools.
Meantime MLA directed the AEE PHE to restore the supply of drinking water in school, so that students can smoothly carry on their study without any problem.
