SRINAGAR: Special DGP Coordination/ Law and Order, Dr. S.P Vaid visited Hazratbal and took stock of the arrangements made by the police in connection with the celebrations of Milad-un-Nabi (SAW).
Spl DG directed the officers to ensure proper security and traffic management in and around the Shrine so that the devotees may not face any kind of hardship. He issued specific instructions for traffic management and parking of vehicles at the already identified parking lots. He emphasised upon the officers to maintain close coordination with the civil authorities and other agencies to ensure smooth conduct of the celebration days. Earlier, the Spl DG paid obeisance at the Shrine and prayed for the peace, tranquility and prosperity.
SSP Srinagar, Amit Kumar, SP Hazratbal, Peerzada Naveed and other officers accompanied Vaid.
