POONCH: Continuing their winning momentum District Police Poonch today defeated Govt Degree College Poonch Cricket team in an
exhibition match played here at Sports Stadium Poonch.
After winning the toss District Police decided to bat first and while batting first secored 143 for the loss of 9 wickets in alloted 20 overs. The highlight of the the batting of Distinct Police were the unbeaten 67 runs made by Mohd Israr who hit nine fours and two sixes.
While chasing 143 runs Degree College 11 was bowled out at 100 runs only thereby District Police winning the match by 44 runs. From District Police Bali took four wickets including the first hatrick of the tournament while giving just 13 runs.
District Police Poonch team included among other players DySP DAR M.R.Giri and DySP Ops Dr Saleem .This was the third consecutive victory of District Police Poonch team who are going to face YCC in quarter final going to be played on Saturday.
