JKFFA flays hike in ration price

JAMMU: J and K Freedom Fighters Association on Tuesday criticized Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs Department, Jammu and Kashmir, for its totally failure to address the grievances of the general public.
In a joint statement issued on Tuesday, the Chairman of the Association B.L Gupta, President Ved Gandotra, General Secretary Tej Ram Dogra, Prabhat Kapai, Pritam Sharma, Rajiv Mahajan, Romi Jaggi and Binny Mahajan.
Flaying the F,CSCA for its failure in providing adequate supply of ration to people of the Jammu region, they said that the promises made by the minister concerned fell flat, as the department could not even provide the new ration card books in the span of two long years.
The members further added that the F,CSCA also could not maintain its regular supply of ration to the depots.
The members advised the concerned minister not to falsely highlight his achievements as the ground situation was quiet adverse. They added that the minister concerned should apologize for his department failures and enhancing the ration price unilaterally.
