SSP Jammu exhorts youth to follow rules

JAMMU: SSP Jammu, Dr. Sunil Gupta distributed prizes among the winners of Cultural Display Your Talent Show organized by the Divya Kala Manch in collaboration with Jammu and Kashmir Police Department Jammu and Project Model Higher Secondary School Janipur Jammu.
The programme was organised with an objective to provide a platform to the budding school talent in dances and singing. About 250 participants from about 25 recognized schools of Jammu were participated in the cultural extravaganza held here today.
Among the schools participating in the programme the Project Model School and Dr. Ambedkar School won the joint first prize; ACM Public School won the overall second prize and the Aryans Little Bird School Bishnah won the third prize.
The Chief Guest SSP Jammu, Dr Sunil Gupta appreciated the effort of the organizers for having brought the large number of students in the competition that catered to the energy and talent of the youth. In his message to the audience he laid emphasis on the need of extracurricular activities and made it clear that such activities support the cause of law abidance and channelising of the energy of the young so that they can rise to the needs of the nation. He also gave the message that the citizens especially the youth should follow laws so that the society becomes safe and standardised. This in turn leads to the progress of the nation, he added.
Later, he distributed mementoes and trophies among the participants.
Principal Project Model Higher Secondary School, Vikrant Sharma presented vote of thanks.
Chief Prosecuting Officer, Jammu Police, Rajesh Gill, Arti Bahl Advocate, Prof Jyoti, Prof. Maansi Sharma and Vivek Sharma were also present.
