KCSC defeats GKCC by 79 runs in T20

JAMMU: In the first round of the ongoing Winter Cup T-20 Cricket tournament KC Sports Club defeated Greater Kashmir Cricket Club team by 79 runs. The tournament is being organised by the Whites Cricket Club at Country Cricket Academy Amb Ghrota. Electing to bat first, KCSC scored 171 runs for the loss of ten wickets in 20 overs.
Shubam scored highest 53 runs, while Surya made 26 and Parvaiz 25 runs. For GKCC, Ranjeet Singh and Bharat shared two wickets each while Sunny, Sudhant and Irfan took one each. Chasing the target, GKCC was bowled out for 92 runs. Sunny was the top scorer with 26 runs while Vivek Suri made 12. For KCSC, Aman scalped three wickets, Bhanu and Arjun shared two wickets each. Shubam was adjudged as the Man of the Match for his 53 runs’ inning.
The match was officiated by Raghul and Goni as Umpires while Deepu maintained the scoreboard.
