REASI: Police on Saturday arrested a person and recovered 40 pouches of liquor from his possession.
According to a report, a police team headed by Sub Inspector Vinod Kumar, In-Charge Police Post Talwara under the supervision of Inspector Kuldeep Krishan, SHO Police Station Reasi and Mujeeb Ur-Rehman, Dy.SP Hqrs. Reasi, acting on a specific input, laid a Naka at Talwara and during checking/frisking of a van (2459/JK14B), the Police team succeeded in recovery of 40 pouches of J&K excise liquor from the possession of Kamal Singh son of Pari Ram resident of Dharan Tehsil and District Reasi (driver of the vehicle). The accused driver has been arrested and a case vide FIR No. 181/2016 under section 48-A Act was registered at Police Station Reasi.
