SRINAGAR: Organised by Divisional Sports Officer Kashmir of the J and K State Sports Council, the Open District Basketball got underway at Indoor Stadium, here on Saturday.
The opening day witnessed two matches each in men and women sections. Since a limited number of teams turned up for the competition, the finals shall be played tomorrow.

MEN: SSM College beat Highland Hoppers Club; Joggers Club beat Red State Club. WOMEN: Hoopsters Club beat Government Women’s College; Kashmir Warriors Sports Club beat Red State Club.
