POONCH: Police on Thursday arrested two absconders involved in different cases of crimes.
As per police sources, on specific inputs, team from Poonch police station conducted raids at different places and arrested two absconders who were at large from many years.
The accused has been identified as Maqsood Ahmed son of Mohd Sadiq resident of Shiendara and was wanted in a case vide FIR No 138 /2010 under Section 363/376 RPC at Police Station Poonch. The other accused identified as Abdul Hamid son of Md Ashraf resident of Shahpur and was wanted in FIR No. 154/2008 under section 436 RPC. Police team led by SHO Poonch Jatinder Singh made the arrest under the supervision of DySP hqtr Mohan Sharma and SSP Poonch J.S Johar.
