JAMMU: BJP State President and MLA Sat Sharma launched Signature Campaign on the issue of demonetisation and e-banking by penning down his signature after writing ‘I support demonetization’, which was followed by signing by a large number of people from different walks of the life.
Morcha In-charge Munish Sharma and BJYM State President Dr. Suresh Ajay Magotra were also present on the occasion.
Sat, while speaking on the occasion, said that the decision of the Narendra Modi Government on demonetization has received overwhelming response from the people as they are convinced about the objective of taking this initiative. It will prove a multipurpose decision as it aims at ending corruption, black-money and fake currency. A common citizen may have faced some inconvenience during bank transaction but have stood with the PM in his noble cause for the nation.
The event was organized by Jammu West BJYM District President Ashish Sharma.
BJP State Spokesperson Balbir Ram Rattan, BJYM Seh-Prabhari Bhanu Pratap Jasrotia, Jammu West District President Ayodhya Gupta, BJYM General Secretaries Vikas Choudhary and Tarun Sharma, Morcha leaders Pawan Sharma, Deewak Singh, Eijaz, Rahul Vaid, Ajay Manhas, Sunny Sangotra, Lalit Raina, Raman Sharma, Ankush Sharma, Puneet, Kunal Gupta, Atul Bakshi, Inzi Sheikh and BJP Talab Tillo Mandal Jeet Angral were present on the occasion. Meanwhile, Sat started work for next phase of construction of community hall in the premises of Arya Samaj Temple, Bakshi Nagar. Sharma started the works in the presence of scores of people including Administration Committee of the Temple, JMC officials various social and political activists and many others. The amount will be met through JMC.
