MIRAN SAHIB: Police on Tuesday arrested two hardcore criminal and recovered pistol and a sharp edge weapon from their possession.
As per the details, on a specific information Miran Sahib Police laid a Naka near Darsopur. During the checking one Baleno Car (8654/JK02N) was signalled to stop for checking. On seeing the police, the driver of car try to escape but alert Naka party nabbed the driver and the passengers who were identified as Babar Choudhary son of Mohd Sayeed resident of Chak Mohd Yar(driver) and Mohd Ameen alias Babloo resident of Darsopur.
During search, police party recovered one Chines Pistol with magazine from Babar Choudhary and one bayonet (sharp-edge knife) from Mohd Ameen. A case vide FIR No- 173/2016 under section 3/25, 4/25 Indian Arms Act was registered at Police Station Miran Sahib and further investigation of the case is going on. Both the arrested persons are hardcore criminals and are involved in many other criminal cases.
The Police Party was headed by Inspr Pawan Kumar SHO Police Station Miran Sahib. The whole operation was conducted on ground under the close supervision of SDPO R S Pura, Surinder Choudhary and SP Hqrs. Jammu, R C Kotwal.
