JAMMU: Selected by the J and K Handball Association, the Junior girls handball team on Saturday left for participation in the 39th Junior Girls National Championships to be held at Lucknow in Uttar Pradesh from 29th November to 4th December.
Prior to their departure, the 16-member team underwent screening conducted by the
J and K State Sports
Council (JKSSC) at playfield Shastri Nagar, here. Vinay Sharma accompanied the team as coach.
The Team: Karuna Gupta, Diksha Kumari, Kashish Baru, Sannya Verma, Arzoo Anand, Monika, Ojesvi, Alisha, Ananya Gupta, Vidushi,Shilpa, Tulsi, Satakshi, Ananya Sharma, Simran and Nidhi.
Earlier, General Secretary of the Association, Ashwani Kumar Raina; Vice President, Ranjit Singh; Joint Secretary JKSSC, Shiv Kumar Sharma, Sports Officer, JKSSC, Rajan Sharma interacted with the team members and supporting staff.
