JAMMU: Jammu and Kashmir Freedom Fighters Association (JKFFA) paid floral tributes to the martyrs who laid down their lives while fighting terrorists who had attacked the Mumbai’s safety on 26th November (26/11), 2011.
The tributes were paid by association at Dogra Shaurya Stamb, Amphalla, here in the programme which was organized by the President of the Association Ved Gandotra. Raj Rattan Raina, State President All India Human Rights Association was the Chief Guest on the occasion.
“On 26th November, 2008, 10 Pakistani terrorists arrived by sea route and opened fire indiscriminately at people killing 166, including 18 security personnel, and injuring several others, besides damaging property worth crores,” Ved Gandotra reminded. “We are proud of them and we will strive hard for safety and security of our state,” he said. The tributes were also paid to victims to the Kanpur Rail accident and Indian Army martyred. The members observed two minutes silence in the honouur of the martyrs.
The association members stressed upon the Central Government to take every possible step to avoid such attack in the future and give befitting reply to any such attack. They also pledge to work hard to develop the India of their dreams. Those who present include Romi Jagi, Rajiv Mahajan, Tej Ram Dogra, Prabat Kapahi, Sham Lal Bagal, Binny Mahajan, Raj Kumar, Naveen Gupta and Waheed Padder.
Jammu Kashmir National Panthers Party (JKNPP) paid floral tributes to those who laid down their lives while fighting terrorists who had attacked the metropolis on this day eight years ago.
Jammu Kashmir National Panthers Party Youth Wing State Vice-President Partap Singh Jamwal, Gagan Partap Singh (State Spokeperson NPP) alongwith Sidhant Dogra, Sahil Mustaq, Dheeraj Sharma, Sunil Sharma and other YP leaders paid homage at the 26/11 martrys.
Others who paid homage inclue Atinder Singh, Mohit, Rakesh Verma, Deepak Bhagat and Rahil. PDP youth leader Vikram Singh along with senior citizens and party workers paid floral tributes to the martyrs who laid down their lives while fighting terrorists who had attacked Mumba on 26th November, 2011. Among who were present include Chaman Angral, Vinod Mahajan, Parth Sharma, Pawan, Gokul Sharma, Bittu, Jagveer Singh, Rakesh, Umesh and others.
