JAMMU: Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC) on Friday demolished encroachment and seized two trucks load of material placed outside the shops while intensifying its drive against illegal Rehris and Pharis. On the directions of Commissioner JMC, Dr. Manmohan Singh, the Revenue Section of JMC conducted an intensive drive under the supervision of Assistant Commissioner (Rev.) JMC, Subah Mehta. The team visited various areas of Jammu city viz Indira Chowk, B.C Road, Bakshi Nagar, Akhnoor Road, Paloura, Toph Sherkhania, Muthi, Roop Nagar, Janipur and lifted number of illegal Rehris and Pharis plying without licence. The team also demolished illegal Khokha at Roop Nagar opposite police station and seized two trucks load of material placed outside the shops.
